The hosts treated us like family, sharing fascinating historical insights. Each morning, we savored a delicious gourmet breakfast, and the serene view from our room made our escape even more lovely. Don't miss the beautiful trails for a nice hike!

Beautifully kept and luxury hotel in a magnificent position very close to everything. The staff - amiable and amicable. Location really close to National Battlefield Visitor's Center, the battlefields and the location where Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address and comfortable Lightner Farmhouse.

Booked deluxe queen room with central heating and TV set. It was reasonably spacious, beds were exceptionally comfortable and the hotel staff were helpful!

My recent stay was very nice! I loved the homemade breakfast with fresh fruit and the unique history shared about the house. The comfy rocking chair in my room was a perfect touch for relaxation. Can't wait to go back!

The breakfast was very nice, and steve and teresa shared fantastic stories about the history of the farmhouse. Our queen room was comfortable and decorated with lovely period pieces. The location was just a quick drive to downtown.

Charming ambiance, delicious home-cooked breakfasts.

The Lightner Farmhouse exudes history and charm. The cozy room was a bit small, but the warm hospitality and very nice breakfast more than made up for it. I appreciated the interesting historical insights and relaxing ambiance, especially on the porch.

Perfect spot for couples seeking history

Had an very nice breakfast every morning that had these homemade pancakes Jason whipped up, unmatched. Eileen shared some fascinating Civil War stories about the place.

Yeah, it wasn't exactly inexpensive but you know what? Worth every penny.

Original plantation fireplace turned into a cozy suite with a porch perfect for stargazing. Surrounded by lush greenery with plenty of space to explore off the main roads, it presented a serene setting just outside of town.

The room felt cramped with limited hanging space, and the ensuite bathroom's shower was small. Squeaky wooden floors and occasional noise from above might bother light sleepers, especially in an older house.

It was just an appropriate option for a short visit in Gettysburg with very good value for money. The hosts were fantastic and shared interesting local history, made our stay nice. Bring earplugs for the creaky floors if you're a light sleeper.

I got a room here with a super comfy bed, great central heating, and a bunch of channels on the TV. the staff was really friendly and knew a lot about the area. the host was a gem. Everything was even better than I expected, and I'd love to come back here in a heartbeat! 🌟

The room was spacious and came with a TV and the original fireplace. the location was great, close to all the key spots in Gettysburg like the battlefields, the center, and where Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address. the B&B was nice and peaceful, away from all the noise and busyness like I wanted.
